Saturday 6th June - walk **** – Around Felixstowe – rain, sun and more rain, breezy!

With a strong onshore wind and rain forecast for today I decided to give windsurfing a miss as tomorrow looks promising but I did head out in the wet at 7.30 to take a few weather pics and was chuffed when Helen Wiletts used one on the BBC this morning! Relaxing morning, I didn’t even bother with my exercises but when the rain eased off Mag and I decided to risk a walk heading down to the seafront, the sea was lovely with big waves crashing up the beach. By the time we reached The Fludyers the grey sky was moving away and we were treated to an hour or so of lovely sunshine making for some nice pics, Mag was very patient sheltering from the wind when I disappeared to take photos! We then headed up into the town centre for some bits and I enjoyed a Gregs sausage roll before returning home for a cuppa and cake as the wind increased again and the rain returned!
